Thank you all so much for the great attendance last night at Cafe 1001 for our Rocket Science event. We thought most Londoners would be on holiday in August but apparently their urge for quality short films was so strong they had to remain here !!
Our 5 Judges Sara, Chris, Ajay, Haz and David did an excellent job picking the 3 Winners:
The Departure by Ioannis Christoforou
The Gate by Matt Westrup
and The Last Man on Earth by Carlo Ortu
So congrats to the 3 film-makers and their crews: Carlo, Ioannis and Matt are now entitled to a 2-day free hire on any piece of equipment from Sudden Black Hire our new partner.
Also, the 3 winning directors are invited to join the jury panel at our next event at Cafe 1001 ‘A Touch of Noir’ on Tuesday, September 2nd
